Gulf Coast Village welcomes Karyn Katz as new director of marketing and sales

Gulf Coast Village has hired Karyn Katz as director of marketing and sales for the Continuing Care Retirement Community (CCRC) in Cape Coral. Katz has more than 20 years of experience in marketing and sales for senior living and hospice companies and has worked for a variety of well-known senior-living communities in this capacity.

Katz received her degree from Drexel University through the school’s Hahnemann University Hospital program in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. Upon graduating, Katz began working as a therapist in hospitals and skilled nursing facilities before she entered the sales and marketing field for senior-living communities. Having been a resident of Florida for more than 30 years, Katz has recently moved to the Cape Coral area from Lighthouse Point, Florida.

“Katz has a wide variety of experience in the marketing and sales fields and we know that her expertise will prove to be extremely valuable for our community,” said Kevin Ahmadi, executive director of Gulf Coast Village. “We are looking forward to all that she will accomplish in this position, and we are excited to see how her knowledge of the senior-living industry will benefit the residents at Gulf Coast Village.”
